Norrin brings together Finland's leading business developers – Talent Base's core team to the new company

One of Finland's most successful data development expert teams is coming back together as the founders and entire core team of Talent Base establish a new company as part of the Norrin Group.

The founders of Norrin Advisory Oy include Talent Base founders Tomi Bergman, Mikko Mustakallio and Tero Laatikainen, as well as a number of the company's former shareholders and employees. The company's CEO is Marko Loukaskorpi.

“We wanted to return to a growth company where we feel comfortable and where we can best use our expertise for our clients. We get to do meaningful things as part of a community of top experts,” says Tomi Bergman, one of the founders of Norrin Advisory.

“Norrin has purposefully built a unique end-to-end technology capability. The establishment of the advisory company strengthens the senior management services that have already been a critical factor in unlocking significant business value in data evolution through technology disruptions.”

“We have known the Talent Base team for years, and I have even made a few purchase offers in different contexts. The newly established company will make Norrin a unique service company solving the problems that artificial intelligence and data have proven to be difficult to solve,” says Seppo Kuula, CEO of Norrin Group.

Investments in AI involve risks that currently appear to be coming true with a staggeringly high probability. The speed of technological change, which has not been seen in previous disruptions, has become a problem for business management.

“The speed of change is creating new challenges for senior management to understand where the real value of AI lies and how to manage development projects.”

The key to the advisor's work is to show where it makes the most sense to slow down the change process in terms of value creation, and where it is possible to move forward quickly. This, in turn, requires reconciling interests between organizational units and building arguments for top management to correctly time and target investments.

"The most significant risk lies in the way companies invest and adopt new technology. Senior management often strives to invest in AI in a way that results can be shown quickly. This leads to spotty pilots, failures, or the inability to demonstrate the business value of AI," Bergman estimates.

Norrin is a rare AI development company, as its services cover the entire supply chain from data platforms, to user interfaces and interfaces, and to learning algorithms. Now the whole is being strengthened by one of Finland's leading senior management advisory teams. Norrin is a company that has been listed on the TIVI 250 list, and grew by 42% in the challenging IT market last year. The company's turnover was 19.2 million euros. Norrin employs 180 people.
