The acquisition strengthens Balanco's position in Sweden, brings four experienced experts to the team and increases turnover by approximately EUR 600,000. Founded in 1994, Tillbringaren has been a trusted financial management partner for Stockholm restaurants for three decades. Now the company's story takes a new turn as former owner Måns Ericson continues to develop the company together with Therese Söderman, who will take over as the new head of the Östermalm office. “Tillbringaren’s strong position in the restaurant sector opens up a new market segment for us. It offers ample opportunities for growth in Sweden,” says Mikko Marttunen, CEO of Balanco Group. In addition to the acquisition, Balanco is investing in its Swedish business with new appointments. Carl De Geer, who was appointed Chief Operating Officer at the beginning of September, will take responsibility for business development, strengthening customer relationships and process development in Sweden. A year of growth in the Nordic countries The Tillbringaren acquisition is already Balanco's fourth acquisition in 2025 and a significant milestone: the group has expanded in all of its operating countries in the same year – Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Balanco's international growth is being accelerated by the Finnish growth fund Voland Partners, which joined Balanco's story in autumn 2023. The company's goal is to achieve a turnover of EUR 35 million by 2027.
